What I Thought:

I don't think I can ever get enough of Malcolm Saint and Rachel Livingston. There's something really special about that couple. While I was eagerly awaiting the release of Manwhore +1, Katy Evans announced that their story would continue in a short novella and I immediately added it to my tbr. I was worried it's arrival would mean there would be a cliffhanger or more trouble brewing for  a couple who may have just found some peace, but I shouldn't have worried.

Ms. Manwhore answers the question of, "What happens after Saint proposes?" It was one of my fondest wishes to know the answer to that question and I'm so glad I was able to see and it. It really was the perfect ending for the perfect couple. I don't know how this is possible, but somehow, Malcolm Saint is even swoonier than he was before, and he was darn near perfect before. I can't even think of a word appropriate enough to properly quantify all the feelings I have for him.

This is a short read, but there's so much packed into the pages. There's lots of love, laughter, happiness and heat. I loved how this novella packed in a little of the past, present, and future for the couple simultaneously. I loved seeing not only how Malcolm and Rachel handled an event as huge as their wedding, but also their friends. I'm still holding out hope Gina and Tahoe will get a book or three of their own. The only thing other than that or getting more Malcolm and Rachel that might make me happier was if this novella found it's way from being e-book only to being available in print. As it is, I'm one very happy reader because this was the best way to turn the page on beloved characters.
